TGF Philosophy

“Everything is a game of beliefs…..understanding is the whole thing.”

The above sentence denotes the whole philosophy of Tej Gyan Foundation. The experience of Self (Truth) is always available. However beliefs such as, “I am this body” have clouded the mind denying access to the always available experience of the Truth. Beliefs can be dissolved by gaining the correct understanding. There are many paths to truth....but at the end of all paths, the understanding that arises is the same. Attaining this 'understanding' is the key. This understanding can be attained just by listening. LISTENING is the preferred path of the masters to transfer knowledge. Listening is the only effortless effort a seeker has to offer. Tejgyan is the path of listening and understanding….. Understanding by listening.

 TGF Way of life

“Be neither a recluse living in the forest nor a householder mired in the miseries of life. Be a bright householder, one who is beyond both”

The recluse runs away from things. He is always giving up things. Sirshree says that the only thing you need to give up is giving up itself. At the other extreme is the householder, the family man (or woman)….one whose world revolve around the family.  TGF’s way of living is to be neither. TGF’s way of living is to be a Bright Householder…one who is beyond both the recluse and the householder. TGF’s way is to evolve spiritually by continuing to live in the world. There is no point in running away to the forest. There is no point in running behind the family either. The middle path is TGF’s path.

TGF's One Step Path

TGF’s aim is to enable individuals to give up their individuality and transcend beyond body, mind, intellect and self in order to stabilize the experience of Truth.

TGF’s final aim is self stabilization not mere self realization.

Many people have told about many ways to self-realization. Whatever be the number of ways – they can primarily be divided into just two ways (Actually there is only one way …… Grace is the only way). One is the path of surrendering (devotion). The second path is of enquiry – Self-enquiry with understanding.

If, through the right Guru, one gets the understanding as to Who am I? How everything in this world is going on? How everything in this world is automatically happening? How all acts are being done? Then ego will fall. And the moment the ego falls, truth – manifests. Truth then call it by whatever name – God, Self, Witnessor , Nature, Allah, Impersonal “I” etc .

During Meditation or Service, there is always a Meditator or Service Doer present. In other words, once you finish meditating – the meditator (the mind) returns and then it takes credit for performing the meditation and feels proud. The same is true for service. This way, the mind instead of falling becomes more arrogant. An arrogant mind is an obstacle to attain “The Truth”.

The path of understanding is a one step path – the path if listening. Everything is a game of beliefs; Understanding is the whole thing (Philosophy of Tej Gyan Foundation). No need of an eight-fold path, the first step of listening is enough – provided the seeker is ready. You too are welcome to come and listen. But before that understand what the path is.
